Thistle Housing and Open Studio Fairways community mural -“Our story”

Thistle Housing and Open Studios Boulder awarded Sally Eckert the public mural competition for the Fairway housing mural. The mural is called “Our Story” and is located within the court yard for the residents to enjoy. The piece is vibrant and colorful to capture the diversity of the Fairway’s community. Sally worked with the Fairway’s community to create a design that talks about the resident’s love of their home. The final design was voted on by the community from three concepts. Sally painted the mural in her studio engaging the Fairway residences to come and participate in the process.
